Bird w/ persimmon

This was taken back in January. The last of the persimmons. Does anybody know what kind of bird this is?

That would be my guess as well. House sparrows are actually not sparrows at all, but Weaver finches, and you can see the finch type of beak on this one.

Looks very like our hen House Sparrow. A relative of the weever birds.
