Yes it does spread Hywel ,very much ,it comes up in the gravel and lawn ,
It looks nice now but it can be a nuisance because of the spreading .
Thats why we have it away from the other beds . I can,t find the name but at least I know it,s Bamboo and not grass LOL

It looks the same doesn't it. It must be the same I think. I can't find the name of it though.
Maybe mine would grow better if I cut it back like you do. I was afraid to put it in the ground incase it spread too much. Does yours spread ?
