We have lived here for 29 years. Our large garden has been a playground to our 2 sons for the past 20 years. They used to dig 'jumps' and make ramps for biking. 90% of our spare time has been spent biking and walking all over the country. The boys go without us now. I have only become properly interested in the garden during the past year and have 20 years worth of catching-up to do! All jobs are major ones eg. erecting greenhouse; making raised veg beds; cutting down shade casting conifers; laying paths etc. etc!! Not getting any younger either!! Lost count of the number of plants/shrubs lost over the years, thanks to the thirsty conifers. I'm onto them now though!
