Hostas after flowering

Such good plants especially this year with all the rain, so far the slugs have not got to these.

My hostas are shredded by september. I guess your slugs dont like crossing the gravel, or do you think the variety of hosta makes the difference? love the posh pots too!

I also wrap copper bands around the pots to tryto keep slugs off. Every year is different sometimes the slugs win!!! The first pot happens to be plastic!!!

I see what you mean Wyeboy , they are big Hostas , this is the first time I have got them but as soon as they started appearing I liked em , but I am to much of a tight scotsman to go and buy a load of them , the four I have got well get special attention this year to make them big guys and then I will split them next year or the year after.
