Beaver Pond on the Walk

A little beaver pond, pretty fresh and still. We found a ptarmigan here, feeding in the brush. She hung out.

Such a peaceful serene looking spot, looks untouched by man !

The trail is well used but no one ventures off much. They are building a boardwalk over it to stop even the step of a foot from touching the earth. Really peaceful, properties are 50-100 acres and one road. Only two houses in this part of the valley, far as the eye can see.
