Water Lily

This water lily was only planted about 6 weeks ago. I can't beieve it's flowering already. Bought 2 from B & Q, the other is taking a little longer but the 'bud' has been proud of the surface for at least 2 weeks longer than this one. It closes up tight at night the reopens as the sun gets up. We are really pleased with the way the new pond is coming on.

Such a pretty pink water lily! Water lillies so often seem so perfect I am amazed at their beauty.

wish I could grow them-this looks beautiful!
We tried when we set up the pools but the bottom one is too dark and iwe lost the white one we had.
Bought Papyrus(totally cool) and Thalia this year but am wondering about a large container in the sun like the ones I saw in Malvern!
