Great plant for most gardens, copes with temperatures here of between zero C in winter to 40+ C in summer. Picture taken mid November 2007

What a big shrub. I have a small new one planted last year. Here in Hungary we have temperatures between -20C and +40C, so we will see whether it copes. My theory is that if they sell it in local garden centres it stands a chance, but with new imports this does not always work. We have lost a few plants or shrubs in severe winter weather, and equally as many in severe heat.
