i got these for my planter in the end.i had a lot of green.any info on care for these elephant ears woud be much apreciated

I want one of these, next year deffo..Its tender (obviously) so treat it as u would any tropical's..I think.:)

i thaught they rot when there wet
how do i protect them.do i keep the leaves over winter or cut them back ?
