Hi Shirleypoppy, we had a look at them at the weekend, not a lot happening at the moment. We had a chat that it is cold at the moment and things might not happen. We also have a leaf with the stalk in the compost.
If anything does happen you will definately be the first to know. We are already looking at other plants to propagate in the spring.

It's so good that Harry is taking an interest - a new gardener in the making! I'm encouraging my granddaughters, aged 8 and 4, to take interest in flowers, their other granddad has an allotment - I can't compete with that!

Hi, Treesandthings, could you pass this on to Harry, please?
Hi, Harry. Have you had success with these cuttings? I cut off a leaf with a stalk, make a hole in the compost and poke the stalk in until it is up to the leaf. New plants should grow from where they join. Leave it until the Spring to try for best results - less likely to rot.
Let me know if your method works too!
