I like how it makes the subject pop, Jacque. Plus, there's nothing to distract or take away from what I'm trying to capture. Now I need to work on mastering lighting :) I usually just use natural lighting, or what I have around the house. Natural lighting is great, but you have to work around it and it's constantly changing, part of it's beauty really. I've been thinking about investing in some professional lighting. I've seen some plans online on how to make a light box/tent. Heres a link to one here:

I know what u mean i even have probs when outside with good light2 get a good Pic as it never stays the same :) early morn sun or a Dull day isnt good 4 me :(
