Magnificent Sandra...... My kind of garden! I simply love tree ferns.....I see yours are very well established too. Living near to the coast we have quite a mild climate in our part of Wales, however, if it gets very cold I don’t take any chances and I go put a covering on mine.... do you need to protect against frost? Marion

i do take some smaller succulents inside for insurance. the tree ferns have been out two years now. i took advice from another nursery in st. davids he said he'd lost more wrapped ones than not.we do get frosts but they are gone by lunch time. its always a gamble but i enjoy the risks....
