Hello Hywel thanks for your welcome.Like you we brought lots of plants from our old garden, thankfully most are still going 8 years on!

Maguerite it is a gunnera, I feel quite sick now as we have just dug it out !! it has taken 8 years to get that size!

Sadly gone, but, it has been replaced with another which is doing very well on the edge of the jungle.

can you get one that dosent grow big .............. i want one 4 back of the pond ?

There is a smaller variety called Gunnera Tinctoria and it has a cup.

a cup ................ does it like tea ;0p lol only kidding ............
ok need to find it .

Looking in the plant finder I see there are now lots more Gunneras for sale, but you would have to google them.

A cup means it has been given an award for garden merit, it is a good sign, if a plant has a cup as it is usually a very reliable plant.
