Maguerite it is a gunnera, I feel quite sick now as we have just dug it out !! it has taken 8 years to get that size!

Missed it so much so we bought another one, and doing very well it is on the edge of the jungle.

Sadly gone, but, it has been replaced with another which is doing very well on the edge of the jungle.

There is a smaller variety called Gunnera Tinctoria and it has a cup.

Looking in the plant finder I see there are now lots more Gunneras for sale, but you would have to google them.

A cup means it has been given an award for garden merit, it is a good sign, if a plant has a cup as it is usually a very reliable plant.
