I would like to bring some of these into the house to put in a vase. Does anyone know if they have to be sprayed with anything to make them last ?

Thanks Lori... I will give it a shot. God knows I have plenty of it around :)

I found it amusing too!! lol...another preservative that is sometimes used is ethylene glycol...or antifreeze. you cut the flower and place the stems in a vase of the liquid...the plant takes it up...and is preserved without going crisp.Have to admit I've only tried this once and wasn't all that thrilled with the result... may work better on woody material.
