Yes Arlene its in a Very Big Pot & i planted it in Ericasuas Soil 2! its not done this b4 iv had it 2yrs this Christmas?I do check the soil2make sure it dont dry out ?

if it is supposed to be in ericaceous soil as i assume you put it in following instructions then maybe a seaweed feed plus don't use tap water.It depends whether you bought it as a live or growing tree because some are just chopped out of the soil in which they are growing to fit a pot for Christmas.I had a lovely one which lasted about 2 and a half years but died I think because it didn't have the root system necessary to support it. If you bring it indoors for Christmas apparently it should be 2 weeks max. It might survive better planted out in the garden and use outside lights to decorate?

Im sure its Pot grown Arlene as iv repotted it twice since buying it :

Don't let it get too soggy-put it on feet so that it can drain and keep an eye on it!
Most fir,spruce,etc grow on hillsides so they drain well.
I put my Wollemi in a quite wide pot earlier in the year and after a holiday it was really soggy because of all the rain.
Some of the small lower branches at soil level had yellowed so I have taken it out of the rain and got it up on pot feet and let it dry out,It seems a lot better now!
