Monarda (??) Bee balm

I'm sure this is bee balm, it had a herby scent to it which were attracting the insects.

It,s a herb as well , I had a red one , it went mouldy very quickly ,each year I tried to prevent it but couldn,t in the end I took it out , I hope yours dos,nt do that !

I believe the oil Bergamot is made from it.
Try it in a burner. It's lovely.

Will get some Hywel, love oil burners especially in Winter makes it all cosy and snug!
