all my hand tools hide in the garden laughing at me. i dread to think how many small tools i have lost out there in the wilderness. come the depths of winter a few will reveal themselves along with the kids footballs and the dogs tennis balls...

Never throw old stuff that still works away..I find that new stuff will break just as ya ditch the old stuff!

Put it somewhere in the garden as decoration if you must :(

You know... I always buy new tools and end up using the old ones. I got some lovely secateurs for my birthday a couple of years ago (yes, birthday pressie from my hubby, how my friends laughed) They are hung up in my shed looking good as new. I still use the ones I found in the shed when we moved in 8 years ago;-)

I hate parting with a trusted old friend . it always feels different with a new one untill you get use to it again !
