My kitchen is always full of plants, and I like to keep the door open so that I (and our dog, Tizzy) can wander into the garden.

I miss my kitchen windowsill since I had French doors put there instead, but like you they're always open so that I can wander in and out.
You have a lovely view down your garden and it looks like the sun is shining too.
