not as bad as you would imagine but worth keeping an eye on though .my last one was 12 and i had no problems with called darling.cats are a real flea problem.infact dog fleas are quite rare

no but my last sharpi loved sunbathing but it never hurt her even to the point of panting.she died about 4 years ago aged 12 of twisted gut fighting fit

That's how i lost my 13 yr old dalmation - torsion & bloat. I guess it is fairly common, but my first (&hopefully last) experience with it.
