They virtually live outside now - I put them in a cold greenhouse last winter and they are outside all summer.

I should add that the previous winters were very mild - during this last not-so-mild winter they got rather badly frost damaged in the greenhouse because I was a bit too laissez-faire about it. They are now indoors on windowsills but it remains to be seen if they'll revive next spring. I'd hate to think that anyone read the above and took similar risks.
