Opening. Once this flower is fully open they usually turn blue/purple.

Just bought some seeds. Can you grow it as a perennial where you are or do you start it every year?

I just became acquaited with this....it's nice to see such a nice example..

This is the first time I have succeded with this plant, and even as I tap out this there is another one about a 5th of the size struggling to gret established.
They like a lot of sun, they flower late summer through to the frosts. The book says they can grow to about 12-15ft. mine are definately half that. They would probably do better on a nice warm sunny wall.

Wow. Don't know it. But I'm putting it straight on my wish list. Make that the TOP of my wish list. Difficult to get the scale. How big is it (both plant and flower)? Oh and I'm fluent in both Cms. and inches.
