This field is Dedicated to Reg Smith. He founded the Hawk Conservency which is now managed by his son Ashley Smith. The field was set up as a wild flower meadow and you can see the result. The Cow Slip is regarded as almost an endangered species so you will appreciate what you are looking at.

The two trees that you can see on the skyline, to the left in the picture, are where the Bald Eagles, Cheyenne and Danbury are released. It is a great thrill to watch them gradually working their way towards you accompanied by the Music from Vangelis, Conquest of Paradise.
