Aleyna. I have a confession. Thank you for your congratulations but don't tell anyone on here <whisper> There was no sun that day. Just a very good friend visiting with his professional photographer gear in his car <end whisper> . Including his halogen lights. But I pressed the shutter and the sarracenias are mine. LoL.

I think your winters may be a little cool for it Lori. But if you have a greenhouse then you could overwinter them there. Or move to B.C. Lol.

Yes Marguerite. They are pitcher plants that tempt insects into the pitcher and then digest them. This photo was a few years ago (and so was the white one). This year has not been much fun in the bog garden. Plenty of rain but they also like it warm and sunny and we certainly haven't had that in 2008. I think Trees&things has some as well but he is on the south coast and I am north-east so his have probably done better. With developing the new garden this year I haven't really looked after them as I should so I will pot them up and put them in a cold g.house over the winter and then give them a good sorting next year. Try to get them looking fantastic again.
