I managed to heighten the border digging in sand with fresh compost along with the clay, ive planted Autumn hebe, lonicera Aucuba, Pieris and Berberis & a winter iris so its looking much better now , fingers crossed for a mild winter.
You know your plants. The boss looks after that area, I do all the back breaking work I have the Honey Do List!
