Hollyhock Seeds [ From Amy]

The seeds which were planted on the 3rd Aug, they have done very well and hopefully will be ready for potting on within the next fortnight, my hubby is making me a cold frame and I cant wait to start taking cuttings for next year.

hoping so Amy, its strange as they were all planted at the same time, the white and pink germinated very quickly but the red is only just starting to peeep through as is the perenial sweet peas!

would you believe something scrapped my red ones out of the tray leaving me with 4 , never mind I have other ones !

I have trouble with rust on my hollyhocks...I love the darn things..but can never grow them...they end up looking like skeletons...I could use fungicides but I don't like the effects of those things on humans and animals...so I just have to be content to view pics of them in other gardens!!
Nice the see the little seedlings popping up, aye?
