Looks like someones painted a target on this flower!! What is it?

Not sure what the name is as i grew them from seed... a packet that my mother had given to her.. they all came up really pretty with different colours.

i grew some of these a few years ago, if i can remeber rightly it is an annual chrisanthmum. but i am not 100% sure, - in fact it is bugging me now, so i'm gonna go and check my books and i'll be back to you.

yep was right it is a Chrysanthemum carinatum 'Court Jesters' it is classed as a hardy annual or bedding plant!

Thanks for the name...... i scattered the seeds in the garden... so hope they will seed themselfs and come up this year............if the rain ever goes away......

would have thought they will do, when i grew them i sowed half in trays in a cold greenhouse, and the other half i just threw around in gaps. and the ones i threw around actually come out better, the greenhouse ones were all a bit leggy and the flowers were smaller.

Yes they are really pretty, and come in all different colours....im hoping mine will re seed themselves this year.
