You've got a point there GT. I've gardened and weeded my yard for ther last 15 years or so with my bare hands without a second thought about it, but then I occasionally come across a picture like this, or hear a story of someone being bitten by a black widow spider or a poisonous snake and suddenly I get freaked out, and wonder just how many times have I had my hand right next to something like that and didn't have a clue ! After that, I swear I'm going to wear my gloves, and it lasts for about a day or two, and then I'm right back to my old, bad habits. I'll just have to pray the lord will keep looking out for me, because I'm apparantly too stupid to change...lol

I know what you mean about the gloves Flcrazy. I'm the same way. I saw a huge black widow yesterday when I was watering. Scary thing is that I was recently sitting and weeding with no gloves, right where I saw it!!! Goose bumps!!! :0 I think that I can see a fang on your spider, eeeee.

Ummmm...did you do a zoom to see who he was?? I know that it's a good idea to check shoes or clogs if you leave them on the patio...cause the BW's like to take up residence in the toe!!! You both are successful in drawing wildlife to your gardens...must be terrific spots...snakes, frogs, toads, mantises, and spiders! lions, tigers and bears...Oh My! lol..
I love the colour of the cuphea...very pretty plant.

Hahahaa, you get me so tickled Lori, love your sense of humor.I don't think it was the medication, at least I hope not, because I also live in that world of fantasy meets reality everyday.Wouldn't want it any other way !
