This is its' fourth cut-back. They get a bit shorter each time, but the flowers are still lovely.

This looks lovely! I've tried growing delphiniums but the young plants always get eaten by slugs. Any tips?

Thank you both. We're lucky - we've got TWO hedgehogs Pasuki! We treasure them. My husband built a low box with a tunnel entrance, which can then be lifted to put cat food in. Then he built them a Winter hide in one of our mulch heaps. We've had them for 3 years now and (fingers crossed) they'll stay. Maybe there's a local hedgehog sanctuary near you?

Magnificent true blue color ! Wish they did that well for me here. I'll just have to settle with admiring yours. !
