A super garden of parteres and herbaceous borders. Well worth a visit

Try to go before the end of August...the herbaceous will be looking good and there should be heaps of butterflies around.
Then there's the NTS gardens at Drum and Castle Fraser and Crathes and in Aberdeen the Cruikshank Botanics, not to mention all the private gardens open through the Garden Open Scheme.. :o)

I haven't been to Pitmedden Garden in years, I must make a trip! This is always the case when things are on your doorstep, you tend to everlook them!
