Are they evergreens?

I think they might be evergreen if kept indoors. Outside I think they'd need some protection in winter. I put mine in the garage - it's cold but frost-free in there.

They grow freely in the mediterranean regions Fdm, but feel sure they would need protection here of some kind.

Very pretty variety, love the leaf/flower colour combo.
