Thank you Marquerite, but as I say every plant has its moment of beauty, I do try and keep different parts of the garden to different colour scemes to a certain extent. As my garden has developed over the last 14 years from a green field site, I tend to forget what was intentional or what was deliberate! My husband tells me I am continually attached to a wheel barrow shunting things around if they dislike their position, and as we all know some things live and some things die as we try out new plants and get used to our soil. I suppose being in farming all our lives I do have a little advantage in the soil section !
