I think he may have put a little weight on, his duffle coat seems to be having trouble fastening.

Is that because of the weather or because of your son's apple crumble - or both ? :o)

I would think both TT .
My Paddington would welcome the company , providing your Paddington brings his own Marmalade Gillian . Your is,nt preggers is it ????

Hope not, I think Paddington's male!
He would bring his own marmalade and share too - orange or ginger?
My Paddington came from England by plane in the 80's, the in-laws bought him for my oldest daughter. She would insist on taking off his coat, hat and wellies and wearing them herself, leaving poor Paddington naked!

How funny my daughter use to insist on wearing Paddingtons boots in the garden as well , we,ve worked it out it must have been 1970 she was 40 this year , she wouldn,t thank me for telling you that , she went away on holiday at the time so that her friends wouldn,t know Ha Ha
As my Paddington is proberly older I think we should call him Senior P. and yours Junior P. to avoid confusion .
He would love to try the Ginger Marmalade ,
He still has a toffee in his pocket that she gave him all those years ago , I will have to put one in his other pocket for him to give to Junior ., unless you are thinking of putting him on a diet LOL

Do you think the two Paddingtons could enter different categories of the GoY Wellie Olympics weight-lifting? Feather weight and heavy weight.
Who can lift the most jars of thin cut and thick cut marmalade?
14 Oct, 2008
That sounds good Amy, Junior P. approves of the idea and would love a toffee! Junior P. might have to get in shape a bit before lifting anything, I'll have to get him exercising.

Senior P. said he would help with the excercise programme and thinks it would be best to roll a few jars first... preferably down hill ,to get the feel of the jars before lifting them .,
Yes TT they should be in different categories , Senior P . thinks the Geriatrics feather class would be better for him .
The heavy weight should be left to the younger fitter junior P .
Toffees are stashed away ready !!!

Toffees, feathers ~
at last it's all beginning to make sense, so I'm currently compiling a summary of latest Olympic training and news - on my GoY Wellie Olympics blog, hopefully this week.
I'll try to give an update on farmers, flame-guns and bus-stops. When you take a look, it'll all become clear.......... or not. :o)

Excellent!
In the GoY Wellie Olympics, is this chubby Paddington going to team up with Amy's slimmer Paddington ? :o)
Naturally with those red boots, he's gone on my fav. photos.
