Sadly, fall has come...

I like the fall. I don't think it's sad.

Ah, Hywel, it's not the fall that is sad, it is what follows it... I hate the long winter indoors. The snow is pretty when it doesn't need shoveling, but I miss being out in the garden. I would not trade having all four seasons though, just would like a longer spring & fall, shorter humid summer and shorter cold winter. Not much of a wish, lol!

Oh! I agree. I'd like a longer spring and fall. They're over too soon. We don't get much snow here but in winter the afternoons become dark so early it can be rather annoying.

All those fallen leaves makes for good additions to the compost pile!
