Such an interesting tree. 100, 000,000 years old, fossils found of this easily identified tree , The leaf shape is almost unique.

Thanks Po. I have several seedlings of this (as you may have seen one of my main pleasures is growing from seed even if I will never see the mature plant) Nice to see what it will look like when I'm nearly 100.

This is one of the many plants my grandfather introduced me to, he had one growing next to his pond and I thought it was an amazing tree.
