We sell these at work! Every colour and every size you can think of. They weigh nothing so would be easy to throw... not sure that they'll go the distance though.

Ideal for in the garden.. I must get myself a pair. Perhaps bright yellow!
They have a grooved sole so should be non-slip. They're certainly comy as the bottom is thick and bouncy and because they are so light you don't feel like you've got wellies on.

Mary ~
Sal found a good boot here.
Our flag would be nice with a boot and a robin sitting on the boot.
I explain on my Wellie Olympics blog. :o)

For the British weather, we need to have these
"nearly knee-high " crocs. Lol :o)

hmm..what do you mean by british weather???
in newfoundland our typical weather has been termed RDF-our typical forecast meaning rain, drizzle, and fog....
and we have some mean winds, and usually always a fair bit of wind.
please tell me your climate is worst?

Your Newfie weather is probably far worse than ours !
I guess you're hardy enough to venture out in winter, wearing those sandal style crocs? :o)

~ they're great-are they expensive and available everywhere?

They're widely available, most of the places that stock the crocs sandals will do the wellies too. Expect to pay around £34.00, which is not cheap but they are comfy.
