I like these plants as well. I was reading up on the life cycle of them on the botanical gardens site, it's pretty fascinating. They say that the flowers are white when they open up and can only be pollinated the first night. They then close up and open up pink the next day. After being pollinated, the flowers sink and produce a fruit and seed. Pretty neat!
Marguerite, I just zoomed in with the camera. They have a tall fence around this area, (for good reason!) there was a huge water snake on one of these that day.
They do have a pic of a child sitting in the middle of one. It says they can get up to 5 1/2 ft across and hold the weight of up to 3 small children!

A frog is not a good sight, here in Brazil you can lay down in a leave, which can reach 2,5meters in its diamater.
It took its Victoria name from Queen Victoria, named by the German explorer Robert Hermann Schomburg.
I don't remember them in Kew Garden.
