No luck yet. The closest looking plant I have found online was a Chilean glory vine. The flowers are the same color, but they are arranged differently on the stems. I wish I had a better pic, but these were up high on top of the wall. I know the feeling though :) I found out what another plant is and now can't remember the name for anything.

Tomorrow, I may make a trip to my local nursery...I think they sell these plants there...I'll post what I find out.

Hi Delonix, I visited the garden center this weekend and saw one of these I think. It was called a Mexican Firebush or a Firecracker shrub. On their website it lists the bot name as: Hamelia patens 'Compacta'

That's it! Thank for posting the name. I've seen this plant for sale many times. I just couldn't remember the name. It's horrible getting older!!!

Have you identified this plants yet? I'm trying to remember the name of this plant. I have seen this plant grown many times...it is driving me nuts, that I can't remember the name! LOL.
