I don't have the proper camera lighting yet. I just use lamps around the house. It's a little clumsy, but will work for now. I like the black backdrop, that way the focus is on the subject alone. Thanks for the compliments Janey :)

Beautiful shot. I'll have to try some dark lamp lighted shots for the house. In the 'daylight' my subjects look pretty orange.

Yes, Greenthumb give it a try. You have a lot more control when you're in charge of the lighting. I find that sometimes the sun makes things too 'hot' and distorts colors. Another way to get nice difussed light is to make a light box. I posted directions on how to make one somewhere... I'll see if I can find the link for that for you.
