Dawn - 25 October

Funny, that - lots of 'dawn' photos this morning! Maybe we're all making the most of the day before we change the clocks...or something?

What a poet!

Not only breakfast was late. The film crew are coming on Wednesday - so that leaves only today and tomorrow for us to prepare. The shortened days mean that we will have to strap our head lights on to get everything done! We keep getting distracted by other jobs and will have to, eventually, face up to the absolutely necessary tasks - and we may have run out of time!

My husband is watering in nematodes for vine weevils at the moment - we couldn't leave it any longer since the weather is changing to much colder next week and that may be too cool for the nematodes.

We would normally have cleared the garden of all the begonias and annuals by now and would have put the nematodes on the borders. Because we are under strict instructions not to clear the garden before the filming session it is proving more difficult to get into some areas. The bonus is that we have more flower colour than we might normally have.

Would love to see a photo of you both wearing your head lamps.
But you seem such busy bees I'm not sure you'd keep still long enough to be captured on camera. :o)
