Beautiful, is it an 'Orange Dream' by any chance, i had one of these last year but i lost it. just not having much luck with autumn orange for some reason. still i do have four other Acers that have been beautiful this year, but must admit not as nice as this one.

Hi Ang - no, it's not a named variety because I grew it myself from a seed! He's still only little :-)

Oh it's quite easy, but you have to be ever-so patient. Sow now and in about 6 years time you'll have a tree that's just big enough to plant out! This one I think is about 6 years old now - and he's about 40 cm tall.

Beautiful, I do love acers .....I must photo one of my favourites later today unlike some others I have ....its been ablaze with colour for ages
