Dahlias Tubers

Wow janette. Sad day today, but soooo much potential is what I see.

OMG theres Loads :O

Its was Greenthumb,but theres always next summer ,seems like a long way off this morning ,its very cold here today,probably not as cold as your weather ,but cold for us.

That looks like a lot of work. But being Dalias they are worth it. I'm fortunate in that I don't have to dig up my tubers and bulbs. Here they winter just fine left in the ground. I just have to remember where the heck I planted them.lol

I just start new ones from seed every year-but I only keep the dwarf variety...
I certainly admire you for your hard work and patience...

I wish I could just leave them Gardengnome,but the truth is I am afraid if I do we might get a really hard winter and I will lose the lot
I grow some from seed as well Newfienurse,and I buy a new tuber each year as well ,they are my passion or addiction not to sure but I love them lol

Dug my dahlias up yesterday.forcasting heavy frost..spend all day ..it is hard work..

Looks like you were busy, my garage look the same, but its woth it for next year.

My dad has decided not to replant his next year so they are in a poly box, all tucked up for winter, waiting for me to plant next year... can't wait!
