He is a very large cat and has a very large purr....he loves to climb on top of me when I am sitting in my chair, which means his butt is in the middle of my thighs and his head is in my face and he purrs loudly while he pats my cheeks and hair...while giving me a very seductive cat eye look...LOL..he is a lover of a cat.

I can just imagine Larry cuddling, and purring over you.
He is quite large isn't he!

Yes he is a very large cat..I have had more than one person visitng for the first time. suddenly see him walking past and they actually ask..what is that?! 'Very large Larry "we say. LOL His front legs are very strong, he curls it around your wrist to pull it to him when he wants something. He has not one mean bone in his body though so is very gentle. When my husband was sick, I would come out of th bedroom early before my husband woke and there would be Larry setting on the step waiting, i always picked him up and carried him up the stairs to the kitchen crying into his fur...he was my shoulder to cry on for many months, mornings were very hard for me as my husband and I had always been early birds together...Larry still understands and comes to me when I call to him..he will run from anywhere in the house if I call my special call to him. It is not kitty kitty...it is "Larry oh Larry" .

That's wonderful to know that you have such a special relationship with Larry. I've cried into my dogs' fur on many occasions, so I totally understand. :o)

I don't think anyone would begrudge Larry the best chair in the house.

He & I quarrel over his importance on quite a few occasions... :)
