I've kept lots of these marbles.
I find it dificult to break away from things of my childhood.
Sad isn't it ? lol

Not really, things from childhood our symbols of who we are....
I have my father's high chair! And little cat ornaments gave to him for his 2nd birthday...And my mom has many of my dolls still with her ( half way across the country, but they are still mine!)...They barely survived a fire, so I am happy they are still "alive".
And btw, Hywel, I'm glad you haven't lost all your marbles. hahaha..

Most of my childhood toys went off to my Nephews and Nieces so they at least got recycled and then I got it into my head to start hoarding stuff for a rainy day in case it comes in useful in the future so now my loft is groaning under the weight of it all.I keep saying i am going to have a good declutter,but it is either too hot in the summer months or freezing cold in the winter to spend much time up there.I will get it sorted one day.....

Yes like swinging on anything...when my children were still growing up, I found that if I just went to the playground with them and played, I didn't need to do regular exercises...LOL...I have never forgotten how to play.

Better than finding a glass eye.....
