Bonkers makes an offer

Bonkers makes an offer

Okay, Bonkers just offered me some packets of flower seeds but I think there are strings attached to this offer....what do you think?

Okay, Jacque, you gotta quit changing your avatar. Makes me have to stop and think and I don't like to think much.....Sorry!..that sounded rather bossy....go ahead, keep me on my toes...

Skippy ~
Weather is getting chilly and wintry.

I hope puppet Bonkers is well wrapped up. Lol.

I'm sure you will warm him up as soon as he arrives. Didn't wrap him cause I didn't want his strings to get tangled.

Conker is VERY excited. :o)

29 Oct, 2008

If his strings weren't so long, Conker could carry the control stick then move his head back and forth and make Bonkers dance. Alas, I believe those strings are too long for Conker to handle that trick...H-m-m-m..you could wrap the string aroung the sticks to make the strings shorter...tape them in place them maybe Conker could make him dance....just a thought...

Sometimes I show Conker a toy and he comes up with a better idea than any I had imagined.....
I wonder where Bonkers is now ?
Fun isn't it...

29 Oct, 2008

Well, he is probably still in Arizona since I got him to the Post Office so late yesterday....I just hope it doesn't take two weeks...I mailed a 9X12 padded envelope several weeks ago to someone in the UK and it took 1 week and 1 day for them to receive it. We'll see....

29 Oct, 2008

I wonder if sometimes parcels take 2 days to reach the UK, and then 2 months to reach their final destinations. Lol.

Please let me know when the padded envelope arrives. That may give us some idea. :o)

29 Oct, 2008

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. It took one week and one day from the time I mailed it to when it arrived at its destination in the UK I'm assuming it may take longer for a package.

Sorry ~ you did put it clearly.
I just read it wrongly. Lol.

I will be gone all day. My Mom goes in to the doctor once every six weeks and today is the day. We have a standing lunch date with two friends and I do all my major shopping. (My niece takes care of my Mom while I shop. The town is an hour away so my day will be shot. I'm glad you will give Bonkers (OMG-I almost wrote Bonsai) a good home.

Skippy ~ I missed this earlier ~
I hope your Mom had a good report from the doctor, and that lunch went well. Did you invite that dishy cowboy on horseback ? lol.

Bonkers might have to change his name because it sounds too much like Conker and Bonsai and might confuse things. When I've thought of his British name I'll let you know ~
unless, here's a thought ~
maybe Bonkers is a GIRL. :O)

30 Oct, 2008

Could be, I really never thought about his gender much, could be a girl once s(he) crosses the ocean....the magic of the journey.. h-m-m-m...whatever you want...lunch went very well but that cowboy didn't smile and I'm always suspicious of people who don't respond to my smile...he was nice enough to let me take his photo...

30 Oct, 2008

Do you think the cowboy was just trying to stay "in character" for the photo ?
I'm sure once I see Bonkers "in the flesh"
( in the fluff ? ) an alias name will come to mind. :o)

No, he was like most any other rancher I've ever met, and I've met a few. No sense of humor. Maybe society has made them that way or maybe it's a macho type thing. I don't know. The rancher I bought my ranchland from is very much that way. All business, no fun and games. Stress, worry, position in life? Who knows...Maybe too many years of being "THE BOSS"

Skippy5869,

This is the best sort of doggie to have as no puddles or do-nuts on the floor of your house. Having said that I do like the photo of the Yorkie dog which is your Icon picture - I take it that is your real pouch ?

Kindest Regards,

Amalfi.
