Looks like the pots all stayed in place ?

Yes TT that's what was so incredible - perhaps because, unlike the highly exposed bougainvillea, the pots down below were protected by that low wall from the forceful effects of the whirling howling wind. All I can say TT is that Ottavia is heartbroken ....

She was so proud of that beautiful shrub.
As soon as new shoots appear, please tell Ottavia we would like to see a photo on GoY of the start of the regrowth. We can all watch it bounce back to life. :o)

I love all the stonework...Plaease tell Ottavia, we all understand. It's hard to watch our robust plants succomb to the elements but it will be stronger and better with regrowth...
