This is a picture of the lake close to the same spot (alittle to the right) a few moments later when the sun peeked back out.

It's hard to see from this distance, but the plants right at the waters edge are cattails. I know they are very invasive, but I love the way they look. I went out and cut several off and put them in dried flower arrangements in the house.

Not as dramatic but I love this one for a different reason...the variety of the vegetation
