Totem Pole in the woods

When I lived in Ohio, 53 years ago, we referred to large areas of trees as the "woods" also. In the west, these wilderness areas full of trees are called forests (at least in Arizona)...you brought back some old memories for me...

Interesting...we have a lot of totem poles here too..I remember watching Chief Lelooska carve his giant ones in southern Washington when I was a child.
