Does the Totem Pole need much maintenance ?
Repainting because it is outdoors?
Who looks after it to keep it looking nice?

Totem Pole requires regular painting about every 2-3 years. Problem is that the wood peckers like the soft wood. The eagle is on top then Raven and then a beaver on bottom. I used to the meaning of each but memory has faded. Right now maintenance is up to me

Interesting to know the choice of animals and birds on the Totem Pole.
