Hydrangea in the garden

When I planted this last year, after the summer it appeared to die...but this spring, after the winter was dead and gone, little shoots began to appear and before you knew it, it was blooming. lovely

When this Hyrdrangea started to grow back after I thought I lost it, every day I tended it, and before you know it, it was the only hydrangea in my garden that actually flowered....I think this was the beginnig of my love for the garden. A surprise like this...! :-)
