Costus Tall 1

Do you know the species?

I like and have Costus, I get a lot of brown tipping
from our hard water though.

HI Delonix, I was given 4 different types of costus plants. I think I have pics of all of them up now. I have had them for a little over a month. One of the small ones has a lot of brown on the end of the leaves right now.

I wish I had the bot. names. I have pics of the flowers, but they aren't my pics. So I haven't put them up. There are 2 tall costus and 2 small ones. The guy I got them from said the small ones should only get 3-4 ft high. One of the tall ones may get up to 10 ft and the other tall plant may get up to 7ft tall.

They have slightly different leaf shapes, but I like how they all grow in kind of a upward spiral pattern.
